Infrastructure is poor, where water, electricity and basic needs are in shortage which results in most of the people having a life of poverty. The governments along with several organizations from outside are trying their level best to combat this disease of poverty and restore a greater lifestyle onto the people of East Timor.
East Timor has plenty to offer in terms of tourism where they are presently promoting in order to gain some leverage over the poverty issue. The Timorese are recognized for their richness in family values and are basically God fearing people which would make them great hosts to visitors arriving to seek an enjoyable vacation in East Timor.
